Mercy

Grandma~ 11/29/11

One day you will wake beyond this realm
and leave behind the ones who'll tell
of the glorious times you once held
but into sadness slip they will dwell

Please tell me what it's like
to know pleasure over pain forever
effervescence of souls together
to abolish the spike

Oh, please, but could you whisper in my ear
all the beautiful things I need to hear
so to leave behind these terrifying fears
and never again bear their piercing sneer

If I must wake, day after day
then help me relieve this singeing pain
that tore through me that November day
when the Heavens opened up and stole my love away

Eidolon

We are curious creatures
searching the Earth always
looking for the unknown

Until we find the soul we are destine to see
we looking at every person with clouded contacts

A beacon goes off,
the soul is ignited
with a subtle, unmistakable pull toward the other;
both sides are to become whole.

Once those souls see each other,
the bell cannot be unrung,
those white, clouded contacts start to fade away,
 and small pieces of unknown memories filter in

When you see someone clearly for the first time
you notice everyone else wears opaque contacts,
just as you did,
they all fall short in comparison to your partner soul,
100% of the time

Hot, chilling streaks
rush past your ears
down your spine
to the tips of every appendage
with such precise knowledge
of their destination

Minute by minute,
season by season,
year by year,
the opaque contacts become magnifying lenses
  for the other soul

The only inclination is that this will be
so awe-inspiring
the second your eyes receive its’ magnificence
it will sweep you off your feet
and change your perspective forever

So when you see a
shining,
pearl white,
chiffon-like elixir
that is so warm and inviting it pulls you in by your heart,
take hold and observe
for this is your everlasting love

Tribulation-- A Tribute to William Blake

Betrayed friendships

Flawed continuum

Hate filled protectiveness

Youthful wisdom

Smoke in Your Eyes-- Poem

I love you
But I don't know what to do
Of all the people in the world
Why did my soul choose you

Tri-eyes widen
Screaming with empathy
Awaken all senses;
To swim through the longest sea
Or climb the tallest tree
All my energy would never cease
Until I found another of thee

The Time Train Romance

Eyes agape as my senses swoon,
Watching eagerly as she glided through
The thickness of the cranberry room

Turning her cheek to avoid the view
Our spirits revived from sights anew
While struggling to compose herself, she flew
Between the unfamiliar madness grieving had brewed
And the flickering, dim lights
Placed around the crimson room

My mind squirmed in wonder,
Overwhelmed by this Siren’s splendor
‘I have known her once before’
‘Yes, I know, I have known’, confided my screaming mental war

~~~
Object of my affection,
Residing in 1867;
I was tethered beside thee,
Loving more and more each day
Until Red Death came, bleeding your soul angrily.
Heaven’s merciful angels took you away
Mocking my desperate plea
“Beautiful spirit, please stop soaring, but instead take me.”
This pain is something I cannot bear;
 Living is a chore,
never feeling your beating heart
or drinking in your longing stare
~~~

Snap back;
At that moment, I shuttered,
Brainless observing my deceased lover

How could this be?

Many moons have passed me by
Since the night I saw you fly,
On a billowing cloud in divine light.
Drifting over with a tranquil pace
I swore; 'Again I will see your face'
In a realm less crass than this,
 Awakening thee with a loving kiss,
And wrapping my arms around you in unconditional bliss.'

~~~
Standing beyond me
Across a vast, crowded room
She waits for me to make the first move
Pulling apart my strengthened heart
I've relentlessly waited for this to start.
As we stand in the space we desired to attain
I meet my modern love,
Although 200 years have waned,
She is just as breathtaking as that fateful day.
The Trinity Knot and Cycle of the Seasons
The center of this painting is a symbol that I have come to learn about and really understand on a whole new level. Its called a Triquetra, or trinity knot and it has many different meaning through out countless cultures.
For me, and for many people as well,  it symbolizes the harmony of mind, body and soul, along with the elements of Earth, water and air.
Here is the image I based the different sections on.
This is only a portion of the full image though. Below is the entire inspiration.
